During the middle of the night in February 2019, I was awaken by my wife's last breath.  She had a cardiac arrest in her sleep and my son and I started to perform CPR on her, but did not get her pulse back.  It wasn't until the EMT's arrived and 20 minutes later got her hearbeat back after their 3rd shock with the paddles.  She spent 2 days in a coma and miraculously woke up while on life support. She was one of the lucky ones, since 95% of cardiac arrest victims don't come back.  No doubt the CPR we performed kept the blood flowing and helped in her being revived even though we didn't get her hearbeat back.
