2026 Metro Chicago Heart Walk
Hearts by Design
Heart disease has touched my family in profound ways. My father underwent open-heart surgery and a valve replacement, and I lost my grandfather to heart disease. These experiences have shown me firsthand how devastating heart disease can be and why the work of the American Heart Association is so important.
Their journeys, and my grandfather's memory, inspire me to take my own heart health seriously. I push myself every day to stay active and healthy, riding my bike more than 4,000 miles each year. Every mile is a reminder that good health is something we should never take for granted.
I participate in the Heart Walk not only for myself, but in honor of my father, in memory of my grandfather, and for the millions of families who have been affected by heart disease and stroke. Together, we can help fund life-saving research, improve treatments, and provide education that helps prevent future heart-related illnesses.
Please consider supporting my Heart Walk campaign with a donation. Every dollar helps advance critical research, supports patients and families, and brings us one step closer to a world with healthier hearts. Whether your contribution is large or small, it makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping me support this cause that is so personal to my family. Together, we can save lives and create a healthier future for generations to come.
Ride for those we love. Walk for those we've lost. Donate to help change lives.
