In 2017, I unexpectedly underwent Open Heart Sugery to repair a Congenital Heart Defect.
I walk because I’m here—thanks to a diagnosis and open-heart surgery I never expected. In an instant, I went from healthy to facing my own mortality—a surreal and life-altering experience. That moment changed me forever, and it’s why this mission is so deeply personal to me. I’m walking to help fund the research and care that gives others hope, answers, and more time.
