In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.
I lost my dad in 2019 to a massive heart attack, and not a single day has gone by that I haven’t felt that loss. My children lost the best Grandpa, my mom lost her partner in everything, and our family lost a piece of our hearts that we can never get back.
That day changed me. It changed how I live, how I show up, and what I prioritize. Now, my family and I stay active, we keep up with our regular doctor visits, and we pay close attention to our heart health—because we’ve learned firsthand how precious and fragile life really is.
We share our story because we don’t ever want another family to experience the pain that we did. If speaking up helps even one person take their health seriously, then it’s worth it.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can help keep the people we love here a little longer—to laugh with us, to watch our children grow, and to see just how beautiful life can be.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Help me reach my goal today!
