The American Heart Association's research, science, advocacy, and lifesaving training have given me something priceless: more time with the people I love most.
This photo was taken on my wedding day, a day made even more special because both of my parents were there to celebrate with me. What many people may not know is that both of my parents are cardiac survivors. Because of medical advancements, quality cardiac care, and critical decisions made by highly trained healthcare professionals during cardiac emergencies, they were given a second chance at life, and I was given the gift of sharing this unforgettable moment with them.
That day could have looked very different. Without breakthroughs in heart research, advancements in treatment, and the chain of survival/ambulatory guidelines supported by the American Heart Association, these memories may never have been made.
Every day, families are impacted by heart disease and stroke. That's why I am passionate about supporting the American Heart Association's mission to fund lifesaving research, improve patient care, and equip communities with the knowledge and training needed to save lives.
Please consider making a donation to support my fundraising efforts. Your generosity will help create more survivors, more second chances, and more memories for families like mine.
Because every breakthrough matters. Every life matters. And every moment together is a gift.
Thank you for helping create more time and more memories for families everywhere.
