Extraordinary starts with YOU. Help me reach my goal today!
Heart health is personal. It touches families, workplaces, communities, and the people we love most. Like so many others, I have seen how quickly life can change when someone faces heart disease, stroke, or a cardiac emergency. 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR.Those moments remind us that awareness, prevention, research, and readiness are not just important — they are lifesaving.
That is why I am so proud and honored to serve as the 2026 Heart Walk Chair. This role is more than a title for me — it is a commitment to help bring people together, raise our collective voice, and create momentum around a cause that truly matters. The Heart Walk is a celebration of hope, resilience, and action. Every step we take helps support lifesaving research, CPR education, healthier communities, and more moments with the people who make our hearts full.
Each year I walk for my sister who died from heart disease at 41 and left behind 2 young girls. I walk also for a mother in law that I never got to meet because she died from heart disease. I am walking because one heartbeat can inspire another — and together, our steps can spark real change.
So let’s lace up, show up, and turn our heart power into people power. Whether you walk, donate, cheer, volunteer, or share the message, you are part of something bigger. Together, we can make the 2026 Heart Walk bold, joyful, meaningful, and unforgettable — one step, one story, one heartbeat at a time.
