Our son, Mason was born with a congenital heart defect. He has had two very successful open heart surgeries, and several other various visits to Riley Children's Hospital.  Earlier this year he was diagnosed with Endocarditis, and that's why this year is especially meaningful for us.

There is hope for Mason, and for all of the kids born with congenital heart defects. Researchers are working on better valves, new surgical techniques, and better procedures to regenerate heart muscle.
