Heart disease and cardiac emergencies touch more lives than we often realize. Chances are, each of us on the STERIS GI Team has a family member, friend, neighbor, coworker, or loved one who has been affected by heart disease, stroke, or cardiac arrest. We are all connected in some way, and that's why we walk.

Today, 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital do not survive, often because CPR is not started immediately. But together, we can help change that.
