My Why:
I lost my grandfather to a massive heart attack at a very young age. I have supported the American Heart Association over a decade now with the Red Face Relay as I want others to know that we can make healthy choices that could help keep us with our loved ones longer.
Our 2026 National JE Dunn has Heart events are being held across the country at multiple JE Dunn offices and job sites the week of June 1st and I plan to run a 5k twice this week to raise my heart rate and awareness for the AHA. I plan to run over the lunch hour near project Maverick on June 5th and if anyone wants to join me that would be amazing. I am not certain if I will be running in my work boots this year, but it is not out of the question. If anyone steps up to the challenge and joins me, I would have a hard time saying no...
