9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that. Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment.

I had 2 leaking heart valves that went undiagnosed for a long time. When I finally got to the right Doctor who listened, testing got started and we moved accordingly. I celebrated my 12th Heartiversary on July 15th. This Walk means everything to me to see other Survivors and also to give honor to the ones that passed on like my Grandmother Hazel. God kept her for many many years and I pray He keeps on keeping me!!
