Cardiac arrest impacts thousands each year, with only 1 in 10 surviving when it occurs outside a hospital.

Through education, advocacy, and community programs like Hands-Only CPR experiences, the American Heart Association is helping people recognize warning signs, respond in emergencies, and live longer, healthier lives. We walk to honor survivors, caregivers, and loved ones lost and to raise awareness for stronger, healthier communities.
