Time is brain. Every minute a stroke is left untreated 2 million neurons are lost. Rapid identification, treatment, and support are the keys to patient success following a stroke. The neuroscience team at Aurora St. Luke's medical center cares for stroke patients with leading expertise and exceptional kindness.
Stroke is the leading cause of long-term disability. We walk to honor our patients who have been impacted by stroke, to celebrate the recovery of stroke patients, and to raise awareness for stroke risk factors.
