Heart disease has stolen far too many of the people we love most—
parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, friends, and sometimes even
ourselves. It shows no mercy and no boundaries. We know this
heartbreak all too deeply. Our father and sister’s lives were cut short
far too young by sudden heart attacks, and our mother’s life was
forever changed by heart failure. This year, we walk with love, pride,
and determination in their honor. We walk for our three angels—our
father, our mother, and our sister. Their love lives on through us, and
we walk to carry that love forward, making a difference in the lives of
others.
