Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in both men and women, affecting millions every single year. It is a disease that touches so many lives, often when we least expect it, and it serves as an important reminder of why awareness, education, and research are so critical. That is why I am participating in the Heart Walk this year. By walking, I hope to help raise money that will one day lead to better treatments and, hopefully, a cure for this disease.
While many people know the name Dr. Knapic, I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of knowing him, but I do know how much of an impact he had on our community and everyone around him. I am extremely honored to be apart of this team. It is inspiring to see so many people come together in support of such an important cause, and I am grateful to play even a small role in continuing his legacy while fighting for healthier futures for so many others.
If you would like to support me on this journey, whether it's a donation or simply sharing my page, every bit of support makes an impact and helps bring us one step closer to better prevention, treatment, and hopefully one day a cure!
