Ada was born with a congenital heart defect named Tetrology of Fallot.

We were getting ready to be discharged from the hospital when, thankfully, the doctor recommended an echo to look at Ada's heart due to a heart murmur. This is when we found out about Ada's diagnosis. Our world was changed in the matter of a seconds. We knew nothing about heart defects and how common they are.

Since birth, Ada has had multiple cardiologist appointments, echo's compelted of her heart and her biggest procedure was her emergency open heart surgey at just 5 months old. We are so thankful that Ada is a thriving, smiling and healthy girl now who LOVES life! Please take a moment to participate in or learn about the Heart Walk.
