Penny was born with 6 CHD's, had 3 open heart surgies and will continue to need more through her life. Due to progresses in medical interventions and studies, many other children along with Penny are able to recieve the care that we need that would not have been available years ago. Without us telling anyone, no one would have a clue on the interventions she has had and that her heart is inside out and backwards she is absolutely thriving today. This is all to thank the time and research that has been put into cardiovascular diseases!
