Life is Why! 11th Annual Red Face Relay is Why!
I want to be more active today so I can live a longer life with my family tomorrow... My grandfather died at a very young age from a massive heart attack at work. I still miss all the things my grandfather wanted to teach me. It is hard to loose a loved one and I am proud to continue my grandfathers legacy in construction while doing my best to help save lives. I returned to serve on the Executive Leadership Team in 2024 for the Omaha American Heart Assocation to share my passion in helping others.
I am joined by many JE Dunn patrons participating in our 12th Annual Red Face Relay to support our local American Heart Association. We will run / walk / ride bikes and get some physical fitness, all while completing a nationwide relay event that will help raise awareness for the AHA and promote physical activity. We had over 200 participants for the Red Face Relay in 2023 from 15 cities and we hope to exceed those participation numbers this year. Omaha's RFR event will be held starting at 2:30pm on 6-6-24 at Prairie Queen Recreation Area, so come out to the park that afternoon and join us if you can. My participation in the Heart Walk promotes many fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day.
