The American Heart Association, the world's leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, is converting its 29th annual Indianapolis Heart Walk & 5k to a virtual event on Saturday, Sept. 12. The change will ensure the safety of participants, especially those with underlying heart conditions or risk factors who may be more susceptible to complications from COVID-19.

The Heart Walk is a fun and meaningful way to celebrate heart and stroke survivors, raise lifesaving funds and encourage physical activity.

On Sept. 12, Heart Walk participants and teams are invited to get moving at home or around the neighborhood starting at 9 a.m.  Stay tuned for more information to come!
