I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
I walk for my Grandfather and Grandmother Gimbel who both passed of strokes!
I walk for my college roommate Stacey who passed of cardiac arrest on the soccer field!
I walk for my dear friend Gabi who is a stroke survivor and swimming sensation (in my eyes)!
I walk for all the survivors I've met throughout my life and especially as I started working at the Heart Association. I walk for all those we have lost throughout the years who have touched our lives, may we keep their legacy strong by walking and by funding groundbreaking research and teaching life saving skills!
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
This year, as we celebrate the American Heart Association, we will move health and well-being forward in important and critical ways. This relentless pursuit will continue until heart disease and stroke no longer exist.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today.
