Where do we begin with someone like Jeff Wail? To try to sum up his life and the impact he had on those around him is no easy task. Jeff was the kind of person whose kindness and compassion seemed endless. He had a heart that was always open, and was always ready to help, no matter who you were or what you needed. Even if he didn’t know you, he couldn't stand to see someone struggle.
Jeff was great at connecting. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. His love for life was infectious, always ready for a new adventure, always curious, always learning. It’s no surprise he had a list of hobbies: cars, planes, music, food. He loved life.
There was something deeper about Jeff. He carried a quiet calm that put others at ease. In moments of chaos or worry, he was the one reminding everyone, “It’ll be okay”. He had a knack for fixing things, whether it was a broken toy, a cracked wall, or a heavy heart. Jeff was “Mr. Fix It”, not just in what he did, but in who he was.
Every day since his passing, the world has felt a little quieter without him.

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today by joining our team or donating towards our goal. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
