I'm involved in this effort as I'm a survivor and without CPR wouldn't be here today to tell this story and support my family! Above is a recent photo of me with Cynthia, who began CPR on me in September of 2017, and along with a team of others did CPR for 15 minutes until the emergency team arrived! All that the AHA does to prmote heart healthy lifestyles, train people in hands only CPR, make AED's available wherever possible and fund research around heart related medical conditions is my reason for walking in the 2024 Central KY Heart Walk, and for raising funds for this important cause! Thank you all so much for your support of me, the AHA, and countless others who have survived heart related incendents as well as all those who have saved a life and were involved in helping along the way!
