Help me be a Heart Walk Hero!
I walk in honor of my dad, Steve Montgomery! About six years ago my mom and my dad were in a terrible car accident. During this accident, we discovered my dads V-Tachycardia. Since then, he received a a defibrillator and pacemaker. In April of 2019, my dad's defibrillators went off three times in one night. My dad then needed a quadruple bypass. This picture is the DAY AFTER THE BYPASS. How incredible.
My dad has been so determined to heal. He now walks daily and swims when he can! He has entirely changed his diet, and he looks great. I'm so glad to work for the American Heart Association where I can work for such a noble mission. I cannot wait to see my dad out walking at the Heart Walk on September 21!
