Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
I’m not just walking - I’m Heartwalking, for myself, my family (see the "fam" photo), my friends and people I haven't even met yet and may never know. As a survivor of not 1, but 2 heart attacks, I know firsthand what the AHA is all about, helping folks like me recover and others prevent potential heart attacks and strokes. In 2019 I began having PVCs, Premature Ventricular Contractions, so another chapter to my heart concerns that I and many others are coping with. In 2020 I lost my mother to a major stroke and it was only a few years prior to that when my father passed away in part to cardiovascular complications.
I have so many folks who have been there for me over the years and as long as I am able I will be a thankful supporter of the Heart Walk, so resources will be available for others like they were for me.
Since joining the efforts to fund raise for Heart Walk I have heard so many touching stories from others who have had family and friends impacted by heart disease and strokes. Unfortunately, not all of them are still with us today and I walk for them and their families also - to celebrate the survivors and honor those who have passed.
My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke every year by our support of AHA. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
With truly heartfelt gratitude.
