I am excited to be participating in the Heart Walk for the 12th year!
Since my brother, Brad, passed away in August of 2011 from unknown heart issues and additional family members and friends have been diagnosed with heart disease the Heart Walk has become a cause I am dedicated to on a yearly basis. In addition, the American Stroke Association (a division of the American Heart Association), also benefits from the money raised. I know that the money raised is used to support education and research to help decrease heart disease and strokes in the United States.
As a team, Miles Of Smiles, has raised over $65,000 in the past 11 years and we are helping to make a difference. I hope you can support me this year as I continue to fund-raise for the American Heart Association.
