Life is Why! 8th Annual Red Face Relay is Why!
I want to be more active today so I can live a longer life with my family tomorrow... My grandfather died at a very young age from a massive heart attack while finishing concrete. I still miss all the things my grandfather wanted to teach me. It is hard to loose a loved one and I am proud doing my best every day to continue my grandfathers legacy and do my best to help save lives. I am also serving on the Executive Leadership Team for the Omaha American Heart Assocation this year to share my passion in helping others.
I am joined by many JE Dunn patrons participating in our 8th Annual Red Face Relay to support our local American Heart Association. We will run / walk / ride bikes and get some physical fitness, all while completing a nationwide relay event that will help raise awareness for the AHA and promote physical activity. We have over 150 participants for the Red Face Relay this year from 15 cities. Omaha's RFR event will be held on May 25th at Prairie Queen Recreation Area, so come out to the park that afternoon and join us if you can. My participation in the Heart Walk promotes many fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day.
Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
