My why? I have so many why's. My family has lost members, many too early, to heart disease. My father is currently living with congestive heart failure and one of the reasons he is still with us is because of new treatments and procedures brought about by research paid by fundraisers like this. I have friends affected, co-workers affected and me myself am affected by heart disease. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure two years ago and my Lupus makes me more susceptible to heart disease. All of these add to my why and my support for increased heart disease research and support!!
