I am fund raising in loving memory of my wife Terri. This is her story below. It sadly came to an end on Sept. 26,2019 after a fall on Sept. 12, 2019 causing a tramatic brain injury.
On day 3, we set out for the Mountain...I was in awe. Still, I was not feeling the best, but I was d***** if I was going to miss this opportunity (Stubborn).
It was very hard on me, but Incredibly Beautiful. On the 9th day, we were back from the Mountain.
At the hotel, we got cleaned up and took a safari trip. It was awesome! After dinner, I wasn't feeling well, So I excuse myself to the Room. On the way to the Room I was very disoriented And I collapsed. I Had A STROKE in the left hemisphere of my brain. [This is the side of your brain that controls language and the right side of your body.] On top of that, I have aphasia (effects the speech ). There are 5 different kinds of aphasia- I have 4 of them in Various stages.
I Want To Empower Other Stroke Survivors To Never Give Up.
This IS MY WHY!
Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
I’m not just walking. I’m Heartwalking. My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020.

Thank you in advance for your support!
Blessing,
Terri Kersey
