My life irrevocably changed at 8:01 pm on May 16, 2021 when I lost my mother to a fatal and sudden massive heart attack that put her into cardiac arrest.
She didn’t know that she was having one and she didn’t know that that was her last day on earth.
I’ve made it my mission to lead a healthier more active lifestyle to improve my heart health as warning signs for a woman about to experience a heart attack are vastly different than a man. If my mom had better awareness, maybe she’d still be here.
I want to do this for my mom. I want to raise money in her name, in her honor, so that no one has to endure the pain I feel after the loss of my mother. I want to donate money to research that will help us better prepare women to recognize the signs of a heart attack and they can get to help before something fatal occurs.
I know she’d be proud of what I’m doing and that’s all I can hope for. So, please help me meet my goal.
