I miss my dad. In late January we lost my dad suddenly and unexpectedly to a cardiac event. Gerry was a great dad and and an even better Grandpa. He spent every moment possible with his family and giving love to all of us, especially his first and only grandson, Finn. We talked every day and we now have this void in our lives that hurts each day.
My why for walking is to help other families avoid this loss of future memories that will never happen for us by sharing the amazing memories we have of my dad.
I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. Will you be a Heart Walk Hero with me?
