Eleven years ago, our family got one of the worst calls you can get, go to the hospital, NOW! My Father-in-Law just had his second heart attack and was receiving CPR in the ambulance on the way.
My Husband and I just had our first child, who was 4 weeks old at the time, so we scooped her up and rushed to the hospital which was only a few miles from our house. By the time we arrived he was already gone. In May it will have been eleven years without him, and we miss him dearly. I want to help families from feeling the pain we did and still do.
Knowing that 80 percent of Cardiac arrests happen outside of the hospital helps bring home the importance of self-care, knowing your numbers, and how to give CPR! Help me support the American Heart Association and all their efforts to reduce the number of deaths from Heart disease and Stroke.
Thank you in advance for your support!
