Congenital Heart Defects are America’s most common birth defect, affecting nearly 40,000 babies each year in the U.S alone. This equates to 1 child every 15 minutes.
Thankfully, Nolan’s CHD was detected halfway through pregnancy with a fetal echocardiogram and we were able to prepare and plan for his birth and first few weeks of life.
As scary as these diagnoses can be, we are forever thankful for the technology and the teams that exist because they truly are lifesavers that allow us to be with our sweet Nolan today.
