I first joined the walk because of the impact that heart disease had on my grandparents' lives. My Uncle Mike passed away due to a heart condition, and my mom and dad have been impacted by heart disease and stroke. In June 2022, my mother-in-law, Rachel pictured above, passed away after a stroke. My friend and coworker is recovering from a stroke she experienced in January.

 

Heart Disease and Stoke impact everyone's lives.
