Andy Boryczka

As we start the next 20 years of riding to raise money for the AHA we are starting with a ride down the Mississippi River.  We'll start at Itasca State Park and follow the river to DeSoto, WI more than 400 miles later. 

Why do all this work - the planning, the training, the fundraising? 

My father, Harry Boryczka died of heart disease after a life marked by multiple heart surgeries.  My best friend, Don Madenis died of an aortic anurism at 39.  My Wife and teammate Karen Nissen-Boryczka has lived with heart disease her entire life.  And my friend David Browne, who died of undiagnosed heart disease at 24, and whose friendship changed the course of my life forever.
