For those of you who know me, you know that heart health is very important to me. We do not always think about the importance of this one muscle in your body and how it can impact every organ and tissue in your body when it doesn't work well.
In 2012, I lost my father to sudden cardiac death. Sudden is exactly what it was. Sudden and heart breaking. You would think that would be enough for anyone to experience. But for me that was the beginning. My husband had a heart transplant in 2017. With three kids at home, that was a very scary time. And due to the type of condition he had, my children are monitored for signs of the same condition.
Saving and improving lives can be as simple as taking a walk. And I know I'm making a difference in the lives of others by participating in the Heart Walk.
But it's not just my efforts alone that will one day help us see a world free of heart disease and stroke. I am walking with a team of heart heros because together, we will have an even greater impact. And you can help us change the world, one step at a time, by donating to my fundraiser.
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people enjoy longer, healthier lives. I can't do it alone.
Please help me now by donating. Because every step counts. And together we are helping save lives!
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
