Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
Team242 rides in memory of Dave Browne, a friend we lost much too early from heart disease. Dave and I both graduated from Beloit College, as did many of our team members. The past two summers, I was able to ride with the team and was proud to do a little bit to help the AHA, though I'll only be with them in spirit this time (hopefully doing simultaneous rides). A year and a half ago, my dad suffered a heart attack (He's recovering well, thankfully!), which has made my connection to Team242 and the AHA even more personal. This summer, the team will ride over 500 miles during the course of seven days in the Upper Peninsula to raise funds for the AHA. I encourage you to click on my AHA page (We're connected through the Madison, WI Heart Walk site.) to donate. Also, check out the Team242 website (www.team242.com) and Facebook page to learn more about us. My dad benefits from the work of the AHA every day and I'm sure that many of you reading this have friends and family who do, too, or might need to in the future. If you can, Team242 would love to count on you.
Thank you for your support!
