My dad is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
On January 15th, 2017 I tragically lost my dad to undetected heart disease. He was only 52 years old and he was seeing a doctor regularly, with his most recent visit being 2 weeks prior to him losing his life. He went through cardiovascular testing and even wore a heart monitor 3 months prior. Turns out, my paternal grandfather had heart disease as well. Since this awful and terrifying disease runs in my family, my mom, sister, and I wanted to get involved and help raise awareness.
So I’m not just walking. I’m Heartwalking. My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
