Why We Walk
2020 Twin Cities VIRTUAL Heart Walk
George's Troopers first walked in the 2013 Twin Cities Heart Walk when 7-year-old George Lagerstrom was in his 7th month in the hospital following heart surgery for a congenital heart defect (CHD). Sadly, George passed that summer but George's Troopers keep walking in honor of George and for all those affected by heart disease.
For our parents, our children and our grandchildren. Who will you walk for?
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally. Please join our team or donate today and help us change this statistic.
The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy and inspiration. People unified in support of a single goal: to see a world free of heart disease and stroke.
Be a Trooper with us and together we’ll help save lives.
