2022 Twin Cities Heart Walk
Amy's Army
On September 30, 2017, our beloved daughter, sister and aunt died. Amy was 38 years old. She loved her family and friends. She was generous, kind, and funny. Her smile could light up a room.
What none of us knew, what Amy did not know, was that she had severe coronary artery disease. In fact, she had over 90% blockage of two coronary arteries. This hidden illness took her from us without warning, and way too soon.
So we walk for Amy. To raise awareness of this silent disease. To raise funds for research to understand women’s heart disease. To pay tribute to Amy, and all she was to each of us.
Please join us on May 21st and show your support for our 5th Annual Walk as Amy's Army.
For our friends in Minneapolis, while there will be an event at Target Field this year, we enjoyed really enjoyed being able to spend some quality time with you last year. We will once again be walking from Stacy's house in Golden Valley, with breakfast waiting for you when you get back!
