Why am I walking? For starters walking is a great form of exercise that everyone can do and it requires no special equipment.
Just a 5 minute walk everyday can help lower blood pressure, increase blood circulation and lower stress levels - all of which contribute to good heart health.
It's not too late to join me and thousands of others on March 13th for the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk. I hope you'll consider joining us and if you feel so inspired will consider a donation to help fund research for heart disease.
Together we can raise awareness and help beat heart disease, one step at a time.
