This is our 13th year as a participant in the American Heart Association Heart Walk, it started out as a way to support our friends and family and to promote physical activity to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. As many of you know, in 2014 it hit WAY TOO CLOSE to home for us when Josie (age 2.5 years) was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect called Complete Heart Block. This resulted in Josie having a pacemaker placed on March 19, 2014 and having a broken pacemaker wire replaced December 29, 2019.
