Come join our team! I'm walking for a few people close to my heart. My immediate family has been impacted by heart disease in some life-altering ways. My father, who is no longer with us, had triple bypass surgery about 10 years ago. He always said the extra years he got to spend with us were so important to him and he was so thankful for the cardiologists that helped to save his life. 

This fall my brother was personally imapcted by stroke. He is fortunate that is was caught fast, and he received amazing care. However, I learned again first-hand how stroke and heart disease can impact even those who are younger. 

In addition to these personal reasons, I hope you join our team to walk for additional health resources in our community --right here in St. Louis. There is so much more we can be doing to share resources for healthier living and heart disease prevention.
