On August 24, 2022 I woke up in the CVICU with a team of doctors staring at me. I had no idea that 2 days prior while at the Cincinnati Museum Center with my 3 year old son I went into sudden cardiac arrest. Without any signs or symptoms I dropped right there in front of him while playing the make believe grocery store. In the hours that followed waking up I learned that I owed my life and my full recovery to a bystander that administered CPR almost immediately.

10% of the people who experience out of hospital cardiac arrest survive. 

CPR saves lives. It saved mine. 

The money raised by Big Mike's Big Heart will go directly to help the American Heart Association fund CPR initiatives. This includes supporting CPR training for all Ohio high school students before graduation.
