The inspiration for the Perfect Heart team name comes from myself and my wife Beth are both open heart surgery survivors (for different heart issues). While recovering from my OHS at Christ Hospital, I commented to one of the staff that if you put the best parts of our individual hearts together you would have a "perfect heart".

Our "why" for the Perfect Heart team is the motivation for the team name. We run / walk to raise awareness about living a heart heathly lifestyle and to raise funds for heart research so someday everyone will have perfect hearts.
