The David Browne Ride is a celebration of life. It is about friends and friendships. It is about working together to achieve something beautiful, something that is larger than the individuals that comprise its parts.
Hot off the heels of completing our epic 3rd trip from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico (over 2 years, thanks COVID) we are ready to kick off the next 20 years of riding with Team242. After all these years and miles, we have some favorite routes that we like to go back and kick around on and this year is one of our all-time favorites.
Featured in several of the Dave Rides over the years has been the Mississippi River. Most of us call Wisconsin home so this makes sense. We even rode from Lake Itasca in one of the rides more than a decade ago. So, to the start of the Mississippi we’ll return!
This year we’ll ride from Lake Itasca in the Minnesota interior, down the Paul Bunyan trail and pick up the Mississippi River Trail (MRT) to DeSoto, WI. Rollin’ on the River is a great Team242 tradition and has featured Big Ring, White Lightning the Bus and more laughs and history than we can remember. It will be great to roll on the river again this summer!
Thanks for being here with us.
