Our "Heart of Champions" team is a strong advocate of the AHA efforts in order to prevent and fight against cardiovascular disease.   

We have a dear friend Elaine who recently underwent a heart and lung transplant at the Cleveland Clinic.   She is now home and making tremendous progress everyday,  being thankful that her new heart and lungs are providing her oxygen needs and an external tank tied to her is no longer needed.    We continue to wish her the best in her continued strong attitude and incredible recovery.   

The AHA has helped make all of this possible with their contributions toward all the research over the years,  including support for the heart and lung machine used in this type of surgery.
