We walk for Alivia, born a fighter with a funky heart.

Diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot with absent pulmonary valve syndrome at 20 weeks. She had her full repair at four months old, and spent 2 months at American Family Childrens Hospital. Her recovery was rocky with numerous complications including a stroke, blood clot, sepsis, complete heart block, failure to eat, and chylothorax. Due to the complete heart block obtained from her OHS, she was given a pacemaker. That pacemaker failed one month after placement, and resulted in emergent surgery to place a new one via thoracotomy. Livi was also given a g tube to give her more time to learn to eat again. 

Fast forward 4 years and Livi is THRIVING. No longer g tube dependent, heart is thriving and her pacemaker is 'beeping' her heart (her words). The future is unknown for her heart, but we know her future as Livi is bright!
