Why am I asking folks to support my run?  One reason... because if there weren't CPR and AED trained volunteers working with me on the morning of September 19th, 2023... I wouldn't be alive to type this.  

 

My cardiac arrest happened as I was volunteering at a local Aviation Museum at Willow Run Airport. ​The reality is 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most cases, bystander CPR isn't performed. I'm so fortunate the museum I volunteer at had provided the training!
