It's a very similar reason to probably most folks walking. Last September I was experiencing symptoms of being tired, achy, and just not myself, especially when exerting myself. I was having a heart incident and on my way to having a full blown heart attack. Fortunately I was able to catch it early and get away with just a few stents. 

I needed to make changes. It woke me up and put me down a healthier path. Walking was was my way down it. The sad thing is that my father has suffered with heart disease and I knew I was at risk. I had been on statins for over 10 years and yet I still hadn't made the changes that really mattered. I want to make sure others are aware that it's never too early to get your heart on the righ path. It's never too early to understand the risks and take action. That's what we're walking for. 

The name of mine and my wife Colleen's team is due to the fact that we are avid Tottenham Hotspur fans from English Premiership Football. So it was natural fit for a banner to walk under. Come On You Spurs!
