We're the Behavioral Health Heart & Mind Heroes, and we're proud to be walking in the Chicagoland American Heart Association’s Heart Walk.
We’re walking with purpose — to help save lives.
Did you know that 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital don’t survive? In most of these cases, lifesaving CPR wasn’t performed in time. That’s something we can change — together.
Cardiac arrests strike anywhere — at work, at home, during sports, or in everyday moments. But when a bystander knows CPR, they can be the critical link between life and death.
That’s why we walk.
As behavioral health professionals, we know the mind and body are deeply connected. Mental wellness, stress management, and access to behavioral health care all play an important role in heart health and recovery. Supporting the heart means supporting the whole person.
Every step we take, every dollar we raise, helps train more people in CPR, fund critical research, and bring lifesaving awareness to our communities. Because when more people are ready to act, more lives can be saved.
We invite you to walk with us, donate, or help spread the word. Let’s turn bystanders into heroes.
We walk to save lives — and we hope you’ll join us.
