Team Out of Left Sight was formed in honor of a stroke survivor who marked a major milestone this year—one full year since their stroke! The team name is a playful and meaningful nod to the vision loss that followed the stroke, and a celebration of strength, resilience, and humor in the face of challenges.

This year, Out of Left Sight is proud to participate in the Springfield Heart and Stroke Walk, walking not just for one survivor, but for everyone affected by heart disease and stroke—survivors, loved ones, caregivers, and those we carry in our hearts.

Made up of supportive friends from the YMCA and beyond, the team is lacing up to raise critical funds for research, education, and resources that help save lives and improve outcomes for countless individuals and families.

Our fundraising goal is at least $2,500, but we'd love to aim higher—because every dollar raised brings hope, healing, and progress one step closer.
